As part of HTC's ViveX program, Kaleidoscope developed the core technology and demonstrated a proof of concept by recreating a conference room at HTC's offices in San Francisco. Thirty-three images were rendered from Maya comprising the input into Kaleidoscope's software, which was used to reconstruct the 3D volume and deliver it to VR headsets. In this way, Kaleidoscope is able to insert a solution at the end of the 3D content creation pipeline that designers and developers are familiar with.
