Tender Claws is a studio founded by Danny Cannizzaro and Samantha Gorman that creates at the intersection of art and technology. We are directors, writers, designers, and coders that blur  boundaries of design, publishing, cinema, installation and virtual reality. We believe that storytelling and technology should compliment each other; our projects integrate form and content. Tender Claws' first release PRY (http://prynovella.com) was named by Apple as one of the top apps of 2015 and was a finalist for the "Excellence in Narrative" IGF Award and "The Future of Storytelling Prize" before touring film festivals including the New York Film Festival and Slamdance. Our newest release "Virtual, Virtual Reality" (vvr.tenderclaws.com) is a two hour narrative VR game about VR, A.I. and our collective sci-fi hallucinations. Made with support from Daydream, it will be released March 2017. Oh, we also have "Tumball", a sport played with tumbleweeds and leaf blowers and "George in the Tub" a collaborative VR project with Mayer/Leyva that recreates the George W. Bush's self portrait of himself in the bath.
