Community Director for Seattle

Tavis Hamilton is a Canadian-American, digital and live performance artist, engineer, sailor, activist, and entrepreneur who has spent his brief life breathing multi-media narratives. Studying opera at a young age, Tavis became obsessed with Wagner’s concept of the Gesamtkunstwerk;  the melding of all available mediums into one. In Tavis' eyes, the new Gesamtkunstwerk is Virtual, Mixed, and Augmented Reality.

Through his company, Stratascene Productions, Tavis and his partners’ creative goals are dedicated to inspiring empathy and healing cultural division, in a world desensitized by global strife and the 24 hour mass social media bad news machine.

Passionate about his community, Tavis has launched, financed, and consulted multiple non-profit organizations promoting the arts, technology, and environmental stewardship. Tavis is currently based in Seattle where he writes, produces, and directs for commercials, television, features, shorts, and narrative/non-narrative documentaries.
