Sara Kolster (NL, 1978) is an independent interactive director and designer who specializes in digital storytelling. She is currently based in Amsterdam, graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven (cum laude) and the Sandberg Institute. As a independent maker she realized interactive stories such as the drawn VR 'Drawing Room' (IDFA Doclab Award), web documentary 'Love Radio', (IDFA Doclab, Zilveren Camera), interactive video 'Hidden Wounds' (IDFA Doclab, Reflecting Images 2013), online field recording project 'SoundTransit' (Tokyo Art Prize) and live-cinema project 'ResonanCities'. Her work is shown at international festivals and exhibitions in Amsterdam, Sao Paulo, Tokyo & Berlin.
