Nathan held production roles on The Matrix, The Well, Paradise Road, Never Tell Me Never and Heartbreak High in the 90s before transitioning into the interactive space in 1999. Over the next decade Nathan co-founded a VC-funded Dotcom, worked at leading advertising agencies in Sydney and London, and held digital producer roles at Foxtel and Disney.

In 2009, Nathan founded Envelop Entertainment, a multi-platform production house, which was acquired by The Project Factory in 2013, where Nathan produced award-winning interactive entertainment projects such as Sherlock: The Network. Nathan completed a Masters in 2010 examining interactive narrative and multiplatform theory and is a member of the Producers Guild of America’s New Media Council and an active participant with the Screen Producers Association of Australia.

In 2015, Nathan co-founded Start VR, a virtual reality content studio working with brands and original IP to create cutting-edge VR experiences.

As a filmmaker & designer, René produced the acclaimed comedy show Backpack Picnic, directed the feature documentary The King of Texas, sold a TV pilot to MTV, designed 5 products & founded 2 companies.
